Our Team

Vega Surgical is a Colorado company founded by two neurosurgeons from the University of Colorado, who have firsthand knowledge of the challenges in treating patients with CSDHs, and a biomedical engineer with experience bringing medical devices to market.

    Joshua Seinfeld MD

    Co-Founder & CEO

    Dr. Seinfeld is the CEO of VEGA Surgical, Professor of Neurosurgery, and the Director of Endovascular Neurosurgery at CU. Having graduated from the CU Neurosurgery Residency program in 2008 and the Massachusetts General Hospital Interventional Neuroradiology fellowship in 2009, he has been in practice for over 15 years. Dr. Seinfeld has served as an investigator in numerous trials in the field of neurosurgery. Beyond the operating room, Dr. Seinfeld has been a consultant/advisor to several medical device companies.

    Zach Folzenlogen MD

    Co-Founder & CMO

    Dr. Folzenlogen is the CMO of VEGA Surgical and the Director of Neurovascular Service at Highlands Ranch Hospital. He has specialized in brain and spinal cord neurovascular conditions for over ten years since graduating from Florida State University College of Medicine. Dr. Folzenlogen is developing minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques to improve patient outcomes and facilitate efficient care.

    Mr. Bojanowski is the Chief Technology Officer of VEGA Surgical. Over the past 21 years, he has held several executive management, research and development, engineering, and manufacturing roles. He is a founding member of four bioscience companies and is an active mentor to early-stage startups. Having brought surgical implants, drug delivery systems, electrosurgery, surgical robotics, and connected at-home devices to market, he is well-positioned to lead the VEGA Surgical product development team.
